WANTED: Travel Companions

Wanted Traveling Companions
We often get requests for people who want to travel to Mexico with another rig or two. This is especially helpful for first timers.
Let this be the board!
Please leave you name, email, the location you want to travel and the approximate dates under comments. This way, potential travel buddies can get together.(As a side note: We have found it very enjoyable taking first timers to Mexico. It is wonderful helping them explore and discover.)

We own a home in the Lake Chapala area and will be taking our new motorhome down there for the first time this winter, coming from Colorado. We have many friends down there that have given us advice on traveling by vehicle, but not RV and we would love to team up with someone else heading in that direction right after Thanksgiving.

I am single retired female. I plan to go to the State of VeraCruz this fall. (After the hurricane season). Anyone want to go and share the expenses. I will be driving a minivan. I am flexible on dates to leave and return. I will be leaving from California. Dee @vonstrudel@yahoo.com

We are planning to RV to the Yucatan in Nov 07 but our travelling companions can't make it now due to illness. We are looking to link up with another unit to travel the central mexican route in November. We don't speed (travel about 55mph) and have spent the past 3 winters near La Penita. If interested contact us at dnurquhart@hotmail.com Dale/Sue

Great job, you guys! We have been 'backpacker' budget travelers to 48 countries, but have never driven from Austin into Mexico, can you believe it? Going the first time in January. Creel to Guyamas or Los Mochis, ferry to Baja for whales, ferry back then to Palenque and visit Yucatan for first time since the 80's. Any tips on the routes? Any news on travel through Tabasco to Brownsville?
